Equine 2009/10 > Eventing/Horse Trials > Burnham Market 701-750

This event was held over two days, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September, near Burnham Market, Norfolk. It was organised by Musketeer Event Management and sponsored by, Title Sponsor: SPC Holdings Limited, Associate sponsor: Subaru and Media Partner: The EDP, amongst others.

The first day was marked by a keen breeze but the sunshine kept the tempratures comfortable for most of the day. With approximatly half or the 500 + entried compeating on each day it was extreemly busy with the horses and riders moving from the Dressage to the Show Jumping then on to the final Cross Country event, with a distinct look of organised chaos, but it all worked out very well in the end.

The second day started with a moderate wind driving rain in clouds, espeially up on the Dressage area. The rain did however relent and the sun popped out and in for the rest of the day, although the wind did keep things a touch on the cool side. Happily although there was the occasional incident all the horses and riders seem to have come through relatively unscathed.

You can see the results, on the organisers website: http://www.musketeer.co.uk/pages/burnham-market-2/
