Equine 2009/10 > Foal's Story
Whether the St. Swithins day legend is true or not her first day out in the wide open world may not have happened today, if rain had come.
As it was about 1:30 pm on Saturday 17th July, and after a little gentle persuasion, the stable had been all she had experienced in her short life so far, that she followed her mother the short distance to her first taste of sun, fresh air and green grass under her hoofs.
As her mother showed her the big wide world, their paternal bond strengthened as both started to enjoy the prancing and running in the open space now available to them.
All this was witnessed by four people (and a camera) with silly grins on their faces.
