Competition Carriage Driving is the term for the three phase carriage driving competition, which is similar to Eventing, under saddle..... there are usually classes for all types of turnout - singles, pairs, tandems, 4-in-hands (teams), unicorns etc... but some competitions limit the classes, like at SICAB.... which limits them to singles, pairs and teams.

Carriage Driving Dressage is much the same as performed by a single horse and rider, in that, it is judged on the way a horse, or team of horses pulling a carriage, performs set movements in the arena. For the single and pair the carriage is manned by a driver and a groom, with the 4-in-hand this is supplemented by a second groom.

These pictures were taken at SICAB 2009 in Sevilla (Seville), Andalucia, Spain between Tuesday 24th and Sunday 29th November.
